This certification is under Software Engineering Institute (SEI), which is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Defense and operated by Carnegie Mellon University. The purpose of this certification is to ensure that Ygl provides its customer the best value for their investment and achieve excellence and sustainable competitive edge. Therefore, by achieving CMMI Maturity Level 3, Ygl strives to increase value for customers through faster project timelines and better quality of overall deliverables.

Through the CMMI model for process improvement, Ygl is enable to do the following:

• more explicitly link management and engineering activities to their business objectives

• expand the scope and visibility into the product life cycle and engineering activities to ensure that the products and services meet customer expectations

• incorporate lessons learned from additional areas of best practices (e.g., measurement, risk management, and supplier management) and implement more robust high-maturity practices
