YGL Convergence Berhad is proud to share that our Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Yeap Kong Chean, was invited as a distinguished panellist at the SAMENTA SME AI Conference: “Unlocking AI Power for SMEs”, held on 6 December 2025 in Penang.

The conference, endorsed by the Penang State Government, served as an important platform for industry leaders, policymakers, and technology experts to explore how Artificial Intelligence (AI) can accelerate digital transformation and strengthen the competitiveness of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Malaysia.

Mr. Yeap participated in the panel discussion titled “Building an AI-Ready Workforce & Sustainable Ecosystem”, where he shared practical insights drawn from YGL’s experience as a leading business solutions provider specialising in ERP and Industry 4.0 technologies.

During the session, key topics discussed included:

• Strategies for developing an AI-ready workforce through continuous training, upskilling, and talent retention.
• The importance of building a sustainable AI ecosystem to support long-term digital growth and innovation among SMEs.

Mr. Yeap emphasised that successful AI adoption goes beyond technology implementation — it requires organisational readiness, strong leadership, and a clear long-term vision.
