SFC (Shop Floor Control) module is designed for the workshop management personnel in intermittent manufacturing enterprises. It supports the management on operation plan, MO (manufacturing order) priority, operation scheduling, operation change, operation dispatching, operation reporting, operation transfer, WIP (work in process) and time/piece work wage. The module gives various definitions of the workshop process by introducing different parameters to different operations in the routing, for example, whether generate the operation dispatching list/operation transfer automatically, whether need the operation inspection. Then the user can apply suitable control processes to different routings, and adopt different control modes, including limited control or key point control, thereby customizing the shop floor control process.
Operation Scheduling & MO Priority Calculation
The module supports the operation scheduling and calculation of MO priority. The user can figure out the start and end time of an operation by conducting the forward and backward scheduling of the operation plan, and sort out MO in the work center by priority through setting the dispatching rule. This function helps the enterprise make full use of workshop manufacturing and keep the manufacturing process in order. It is decisive for the workshop management personnel to schedule the manufacturing process.
Flow No./Lot No. Tracking
The module supports flow No./lot No. tracking to the operation plan, dispatching list, operation reporting and operation transfer, Tracking of the lot No. of raw materials and semi-finished products helps track the product quality, while management of the flow No. helps track the critical data such as operators and equipment involved in a manufacturing process that affects the quality. This function guarantees the track ability of manufacturing process and product quality.
Time/Piece Work Wage Management
Based on the finished output and working hours recorded in operation reports, the module helps the user work out the time/piece work wage of each worker in a fast, accurate and objective manner. It not only makes direct expense on workers quite visible for the enterprise, but also greatly reduces the workload of statisticians, and finally improves the quality of SFC.
The module supports the enterprise to acquire the inventory and the change of workshop WIPs from diversified aspects and conduct physical counting of WIPs for subsequent adjustment.
